Your Kids Need Your Help!

During the 2010 spring fundraising campaign, we raised approximately $140,000 or 8 class sections – THANK YOU to our families who have donated (see List of Donors here)! We have promised the administration funds for up to 16 class sections for this school year - now we NEED YOUR HELP to close the gap. Superintendent Enoch predicts we will receive approximately $823 less per student in state funding than we did two years ago! You can help your kids at a time when our state will see the second largest budget cut to public schools and colleges since the Great Depression!                                                      

Our Goal This Year

·         Fund up to 16 class sections, at a cost of $17,161 per section, or $274,576

·         Fund counseling sections, as determined by the administration

·         Fund special academic programs or projects if more is raised

·         Recognize Honor Roll students with awards

·         Coordinate PSAT, SAT, and ACT preparation classes

·         Co-host district-wide College Night in September

YOU Can Help!

Monte Vista’s outstanding academic environment is a direct result of combined efforts of dedicated teachers and staff, motivated students, and concerned, involved parents. Your donations positively affect ALL students in ALL levels of learning in ALL subjects. We ask that you donate $350 per student, or a dollar a day. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will make a crucial difference. Please print and send in the Donation Form - checks are preferred to save credit card fees.
