Honor Roll Awards Night: This is a night to honor those students who have made the Principal's Honor Roll (3.5 GPA or higher) for either the fall semester or the previous spring semester. MVHS Academic Boosters are proud to honor our students for their academic achievements.

Practice Test Programs: One of the most important preparation tools for success in taking college admissions tests is PRACTICE. Monte Vista offers several opportunities to take full length tests, receive scores, learn test-taking strategies, yet not worry about scores being officially reported. Students may learn that they prefer the ACT over the SAT, or the opposite. Either scores are accepted at virtually every college. Familiarity with the test-taking procedure can go a long way in relieving test-day jitters when students take the tests 'for real'.

SAT I: Students sit for a full-length SAT I practice test on a Saturday morning, then receive their scores and discuss strategy session at a follow-up session later in the week. Offered in Fall and Spring.
