Stampede Day

Stampede Day
Wednesday August 9th 
This year Stampede Day will be open for the Frosh and New Students from 8-11am.  Please start in the Gym by your last name alpha.  The afternoon session is for 10-12 grades.   Join the MV community and meet Administrators, Teachers, Staff, Booster Groups and Leadership to get everything you need to start the school year. 

 

Mustang students and parents will leave Stampede Day with a student schedule, ID card and any items purchased such as planner, spiritwear, booster items and more!

 

 


Stampede Day  2017-18

 

SCAVENGER HUNT:  Visit all the tables to complete the card and enter the drawing for a basket of spirit wear! 

 

PTSA -Join here - supports programs for all students at MVHS

 

Academic Boosters supports each student at Monte Vista through Class Size Reduction.

 

Athletic Boosters -   supports all Monte Vista Sport Teams

 

12th Man- supports MV Football Teams 

 

Choir Boosters -Friends of Choir supports the Choral Music 

 

Drama Boosters - Friends of Theater supports Drama.Program

 

Music Boosters - Keynoters  supports Instrumental Music

               

Monte Vista Clubs- Visit student leaders of various Clubs to learn about what they offer and how you can participate.

 

Volunteers-  Enroll in the district VMS program

 

MVHS- pick up items purchased online or visit cashier
      Student Planner- now binder sized  

      Locks- new students receive free lock

      Red and Black Mustang Cards 
Donations for Classroom, Technology, Library, Yearbook,  by check or cash. 

 

Leadership-  – Select Spiritwear and Class of 20?? items

 

Pictures – Each student needs a picture taken for school ID     To purchase pictures online CLICK HERE .

 

ID Card    A new 2017-18 ID Card is required to pick up schedules and check out textbooks. 

 

Class Schedule for 2017-18 – Pick up your class schedule in the Workday Student Center after photos and ID card pick up.  Counselors will be available. 

 

Late Registration

If you are unable to attend Stampede Day parents and students should be at late registration the first day of school, August 14th.  Late registration will be from 7 AM to 8:30 AM at the Bookkeeper’s Window.

 

The first day of school is Monday, August 14th, and it will be minimum day. Period “A” will begin at 7:30 AM and Period 1 will begin at 8:12 A.M. School will be dismissed at 12:33 PM.
