Prerequisite: Computer Science AP ‘A’.—Competence in written communi-cation, a familiarity with mathematical notation at the level of a second course in algebra, experience in problem solving, and an appreciation of the need to structure and develop a given topic in a logical manner.
Computer Science AB includes all the topics of Computer Science A, as well as a more formal and in-depth study of algorithms, data structures, and abstraction. This includes binary trees, linked lists, and additional topics, which are listed in the topic outline on the college board web site.
