ROP COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE (Computer Repair & Maintenance)

10th graders may take this course if they are 16 by the first day of class.
Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation.
In this class, students will learn the architecture of computers by assem-bling, upgrading and repairing computers. Students will learn the technical aspects of computer hardware, how to install operating systems and appli-cation software. Emphasis is on teamwork and developing problem solving skills.
