System Administration/Networking

Prerequisites: Enrolled in AP Computer Science or completed an advanced programming class.
Students learn LINUX (UNIX) and Windows operating systems—system administration and software management for networks. Students work on the classroom network software and on the Internet. Students learn win-dows networking through the Microsoft coursework. Programming method-ology is a strong focus with students in all programming languages. (This course was previously called System Administration/Networking.) Students may prepare for the Microsoft Certifications.
