Prerequisites: B or better in Honors Chemistry, teacher signature, A in both semesters of Biology

This is a course for second year biology students that parallels the material presented in a college level introductory general biology class. Lectures, text and supplemental reading materials, and laboratory experiments will be at the college level. Students will be encouraged to take the advanced placement biology exam. A course for the self-motivated student. A lab fee is required and some summer reading must be done prior to the beginning of class.
