This course utilizes text and laboratory manuals to emphasize a laboratory approach to chemistry. Chemistry deals with matter, its properties, and the changes it undergoes. Some of the topics covered are atomic structure and theory; properties of gas, solids and liquids; chemical bonding; and principals of chemical reactions.
