Prerequisites: Algebra 1 (passing grade) and/or concurrent enrollment in Geometry, C or better in Biology

Geology is a college-preparatory course that fulfills the physical laboratory science requirement for the UC/CSU systems. Geology is the study of the study of the earth and the processes that have shaped it. Students will study mineralogy, seismology, volcanology, hydrology, oceanography, meteorology, process and dynamics with a focus on California geology. This course does not require a chemistry background. This will be an activity-based course.
