Rumors

Dear Monte Vista Community,

We have received several reports of rumors regarding a possible threat to our campus. We want to reassure you that we are aware of these rumors. Danville Police are investigating and have absolutely no evidence to suggest that they are credible or related to Monte Vista High School.

We believe that these rumors stem from a Danville Police investigation involving a threat made to a student at another school. The investigation determined that the threat was intended as a prank, and at no time were any students in danger.

As always, it is safe to come to school at Monte Vista today.  The safety of our students is our top priority.

Thank you.

Dr. Kevin Ahern

Principal

Monte Vista High School
