Attention Seniors, Senior Ball is here! Senior Ball will be held Saturday, April 29th from 7:00 – 11:00 pm on SF Belle for a tour of the San Francisco Bay. The boat will be leaving from Pier 3 in San Francisco. Attendees need to be at Pier 3 by 6:15pm to begin the check in process. Please plan ahead and be prepared for traffic or any unforeseen circumstances.
March 24th – April 18th tickets will be sold for $125 each on the webstore. The last day to purchase tickets will be on Wednesday, April 19th at lunch for $125 each. Tickets will be sold while available. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable so be sure you plan on attending ball before you purchase your tickets! You must have your ticket and current student ID card for admittance to Senior Ball.
Future Pommies, After reviewing the tryout schedule and working with the Monte Vista dance teacher, there has been an amendment for the Pom tryouts to accommodate those that also participate in the dance program at MVHS.

SRVUSD High School Remediation Summer School 2017 @ Dougherty Valley High School This program is for remediation only...If a student earned a D/F grade in a course (English, History, Math, Biology)...he/she needs to attend summer school in order to remediate the grade/credits. Each day is a week and each session represents one semester. Applications will be available from the Counseling Office around April 1st
Session A: June 12 - June 29 8:00 am - 12:40 pm

RANCHO SCHOLARSHIP FOR MV GRADS: The Rancho Romero PTA is offering a $500 scholarship to a former Rancho Romero student now graduating from high school. Our goal is find students who can share how their time at Rancho Romero really shaped who they are today. MV Athletic Boosters Scholarship – Award Program: Attention Graduating Seniors: Did you participate in Monte Vista athletics? Are you looking for some cash to help pay for college next year? Or, are you planning to join the U.S. Military after graduation? Then you may be eligible for the Monte Vista Athletic Boosters Scholarship-Award Program.
- Up to six (6) $1,000 awards will be granted to Monte Vista student-athletes who demonstrate excellence through athletic participation, academic achievement, and service to Monte Vista High School.
- Rules, eligibility guidelines, and the application form may be found on the school website (www.mvhs.schoolloop.com/athletic_scholarship). Applications are being accepted now and must be received no later than April 1, 2017.

In May is the 2nd Semester Students of Excellence. Teachers each nominate a student for the intangible efforts. The nominated student is hard-working, has a positive attitude, and adds a special element to the classroom. Nominations are submitted in April and then Parents/Students are notified.
