DAY OF THE TEACHER: On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, the SRVUSD Board of Education passed a resolution declaring today (May 10, 2017) as Day of the Teacher. Since joining the SRVUSD last summer, I have had an opportunity to visit classrooms at each of our 36 school sites. Senior Breakfast: May 19 breakfast in the commons from 7:45am – 8:15 (included in the gold card or purchase on the webstore)
Senior Inspirational Awards Ceremony: Friday, May 19th from 8:15am – 10:00am in our large gym after breakfast.
Senior Picnic to 6 Flags: Leaving on bus 10am after Awards Ceremony. Tickets are $35 and are not included in the gold card so purchase on the webstore by May 10. Permission slips distributed in all Econ/Gov classes and due to Mrs Watson in Counseling by May 11.
SENIOR CHECK OUT Thursday, June 1st at 12:45pm: To participate in graduation, seniors receive a check-out form to make sure all the necessary steps are done before graduation. Seniors check with each teacher for grades, counseling for final transcript and then finally in line on June 1st for Child Nutrition, Textbooks, Library, Locks and Bookkeeper.
SENIOR NOTICE FOR LOST OR OVERDUE BOOKS: Due May 19 Seniors are receiving notice this week that they need to return past due novels or textbooks. It is important to get this done before the senior picnic on May 19th. Delay in paying fine or returning books will possibly hold up your senior check out process and also senior activities. All books can be returned to the textbook room before 1st period or during brunch.

Seniors are to be in the large gym by 10 to receive information about graduation and rehearsal is anticipated to be finished around 11.

The gates open at 4 for first come, first served seating. Students report to assigned rooms at 5pm dressed in caps and gowns.

Grad Night is an all-night event sponsored by Senior Parents.
