TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO APPLY FOR SCIENCE ALLIANCE 2017-2018

Science Alliance, a club recognized by the President of the United States for community service and the largest homegrown club at Monte Vista, is now accepting applications to become a mentor. CLICK HERE to access the application that is due on Friday, September 22nd. This includes the online application as well as the teacher recommendation form.

If you love science and/or spending time with kids, Science Alliance is the club for you! In this club, mentors guide their own fifth grade buddy through a year long Science Experiment, which the buddy then presents at the annual Science Fair. Members are given the opportunity to have a unique mentoring experience, gain extra credit in various MV science classes, and fill up community service hours and college applications. Moreover, non-senior mentors can apply for officer positions at the end of the year.
