June 2019
Happy Summer Break, Mustangs!  We hope you are all having a refreshing and relaxing summer with your families and friends.

Before heading off for a few weeks myself, I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for an amazing 2018-19 school year. When we look back over the course of the year, I can see a myriad of incredible successes MV students experienced in academics, the arts, and athletics. These outstanding programs would not be possible without the generous support of our many booster organizations which go above and beyond to ensure that every student has access to a wide variety of experiences and activities. Here is one example of what these groups provide for our students.

In May, Monte Vista’s Academic Boosters concluded their annual spring fundraising drive to provide additional class sections which contribute to lowering class sizes. This year’s drive resulted in 17 additional class sections for next school year which translates into the following:

5 sections of English

4 sections of World Language

2 sections of Social Science

3 sections of Science

1 section of Art

1 section of Dance

1 section of Physical Education

Thanks to all for your generous contributions to Monte Vista. We truly appreciate your ongoing support.

Why should you donate?  Because your support for Academic Boosters is the only way to add extra sections or class periods to the master schedule. This important fundraiser helps reduce class size and allows us to offer our award winning electives not otherwise funded.  Every dollar raised here, stays here at Monte Vista.

What is a Class Section?  One Class Section is one teacher, one classroom, one subject for one school year.

When do you donate?  Now.  Our goal this year is 18 sections with your support.

How do you donate? Suggested per student donation is $495.  But we accept any level of support for our students.

Together we are Stampede Strong and only as strong as the community that supports us. Check into your Future Fund Account   mvhigh.futurefund.com to make an online donation today or avoid the 3.5% credit card fee by sending a check written to MVHS Academic Boosters at 3131 Stone Valley Road, Danville, CA 94526.
